This is a standard sized mail box. It comes with a flag and street number stickers. It seems to be well made with one major exception - the door is about 1/4 to 1/2 inch too big around the edge. It will not properly close. This could be a one time error but it makes the box unusable.

Some assembly required. It's an old fashioned, pretty sturdy painted steel rural route mail box. It's medium sized, which is the size I normally see around here. It's good for letters, papers, magazines and small packages only. If you need to have larger packages delivered to your box you'll need an oversized mail box or a package locker. The front door seems a little oversized in comparison to the size of the box itself. The door has an overhanging edge, but it's not going to seal perfectly water tight. This likely will be fine, except in exceptionally bad weather conditions, like heavy, wind driven rain. We get that here sometimes, so I have occasionally had damp mail if I don't fetch it promptly. Which stinks, but I decided to prioritize durability over sealing perfectly because of the snow plows here. I appreciate that the box numbers are included! 4 stars.

The door does not stay closed on this box and the stickers that came with it lasted a day on the side of the box.

The box itself is adequate for the task, however the latching mechanism which is supposed to hold the door closed is so poorly engineered its laughable. The friction based metal tab on the inside of the door is supposed to rub against the box itself, pinching the box and keeping the door shut. It simply doesnt work. the material used is so cheap, the act of closing the door deforms the metal tab. After a full 30 minutes of dealing with it, I ended up gorilla gluing two small magnets to the door, which solves the issue. The second issue is a complete lack of instructions how to put the thing together. Instructions for a mailbox sounds silly but theres just enough ambiguity where they would have been incredibly helpful in putting the EIGHT different pieces together in the proper order so water wouldnt get in and the flag would operate correctly.Overall Id give the product 2 stars since the box and door itself seem to operate OK and the coating looks to be applied properly. The seams are pinched closed well enough albeit not clean looking. It just seems to me another cheap product from yet another Chinese drop-shipper. I really miss the days when you could find affordable quality items on Amazon.

Standard mailbox but it does the job very well. Easy to install and it feels heavy duty. The metal also feels to be thicker than our old mailbox so I love that.
