EPDM is an all-purpose, synthetic rubber made for applications that especially demand all-weather capabilities. Compared to other types of rubber, EPDM is particularly resistant to chemicals and weather-related hazards. For example, EPDM has very high resistances to UV-radiation, impacts, and abrasion. Outdoor applications, such as industrial projects, often rely on EPDM for its weather-resistant properties. This black EPDM-sheet-rubber ranges in durometer from 55 to 65 Shore A. Generally, this EPDM-rubber sheet has a durometer of 60 Shore A. This durometer is high enough to make the EPDM-rubber sheets structurally robust—yet low enough to ensure that the EPDM material remains highly flexible and stretchable. In fact, this EPDM-rubber sheeting has a minimum elongation of 300%! This EPDM product is available in different thicknesses and sizes. This black EPDM is offered in the following gauges: 1/32”, 1/16”, 3/32”, 1/8”, 3/16”, ¼”, 3/8”, ½” and ¾”. Each thickness is available in many different sizes. Such variety offers you the ability to obtain weather-resistant rubber that precisely matches your project’s needs. It also comes with a smooth finish. One of the main advantages of EPDM materials with moderate-to-high durometers is that they are excellent for creating tight seals. In total, this EPDM sheeting is an exceedingly versatile resource for applications nested within hostile, outdoor environments.

Arrived in a carboard box what was broke and the surface texture of the EPDM rubber is rough and lumpy on both sides. Dont believe i can use for my purpose. Heat did not help. Need it flat.

Do you have an older vehicle, and your rubber deflectors have rotted away or have been torn off? Well, I found out that some of the deflectors for my Ford F150 are now "obsolete." Giving it some thought, I ordered the EPDM rubber sheet, and made a new deflector for the underside of my radiator and transmission lines. I showed it to the guys at the parts department, and already had 4 F150 owners ask me to make some for them! This product is very durable, and will probably last as long as my F150 will. Moral of the story: Use your imagination, and think of ways to use the product!

Good quality. Used to make fender liner for my truck. Worked out and would buy again.
