I ordered this blanket for my 20 year old mare who is having trouble staying warm in her older age. I love that it is a lighter weight blanket - just enough to help take the chill off of her but not too warm that she can not self regulate her body temperature especially in rapidly changing weather conditions. Quality seems good and the storage bag it comes in is perfect for when the blanket is not in use. Nice product - five stars!

This lightweight blanket fits get, is made of durable material, and is a necessity to add to my blanket collection to have a lighter filled option. Really can't go wrong with blankets from this brand. I also love that this one has a bit of an extended neck to help keep my horse warmer without needing a full neck cover.

This turn out blanket arrived just in time for a snow storm that we had for the first time in 8 years. It was so easy to put on my girl. The size that I ordered was perfect because it fits her perfect. It's almost lile she knows she has a new blanket on because she's acting like a diva and her attitude has changed. This blanket is a very high quality blanket. It's nice and thick and I noticed that it doesn't hold onto moisture. She managed to keep it on even when she was enjoying wallowing in the snow. She's a goofy girl at times but it definitely help on the way that it was supposed to. I'm slowly becoming a new fan of this brand. I checked out some of their other products and i was impressed. I highly recommend this blanket because compared to the one that i had for my girl in the past, this one is a better grade and it keeps my girl warm.

When I realized this blanket is made by the company formerly known as "Horze", I didn't hesitate to order it!! I have been buying this brand for years. The fit and quality is very good. I also like that the blankets now come with a storage bag because they used to come with nothing but cheap plastic wrap. Anyhow, thumbs up on this blanket. Oh!! And the high neck design can be super helpful for difficult to fit or narrow horses because it solves the problem of it hanging off the shoulders.Note: I ordered more than one of these blankets, so my review will be similar for each.

This Equinavia Arktis light weight waterproof turnout blanket is an extended neck style. I like this style of blanket for my older horses because it provides more warmth and protection for the withers. This is a well-made blanket. It has a 1200D polyester outer that is breathable but still waterproof. It is fully lined with polyester taffeta, very comfortable for the horse because it glides over their hair coat. The front has two quick-release buckles with zinc snaps and good adjustability. There are shoulder gussets for ease of motion. The cross-belly surcingles have generous adjustment and the fasteners have rubber stops to help prevent accidental unfastening. The tail cover is generous. The binding has high visibility reflective stitching. The color, charcoal grey, looks good on my horse. Sizing is true.

I’m convinced horses constantly try to kill themselves, so I don’t know for certain if it was the horse or the blanket that was to fault. I was very pleased with this brand and the quality. I have the whole set from the sheet, lightweight, medium, and heavy weight and am really impressed with the whole set. The hardware is all well made and sturdy. I appreciate having snaps for the front closure and that they come with tail and leg straps. My horse was able to move freely and it was warm but not too hot. The straps are well made and I was able to sew them back on without any issues. I have used the other blankets and so far none of the straps have been ripped off, so it could have been the horse. I really like the added safety of having reflective accents. It is especially helpful since when they have blankets the weather is normally at its worst. It fit as expected and was on the large side on this horse as expected. I would 100% buy this blanket again! This is perfect for cool nights when you are camping and don’t have adequate shelter.

We live in PA and camp with our horses. Spring and Fall can still be pretty chilly especially when it rains. Normally I am not a big blanket fan, but it is nerve wracking to have to watch my horses tied to the highline shivering. This blanket is waterproof and just the right weigh, but I really do not like the extended neck. Just seems too much of a good thing to me but then again remember I don't use blankets as a rule.

This is my third Equinavia blanket and I remain impressed with the construction. This is the best one yet! The extended neck is a big improvement for my hard to fit, lanky Tennessee Walking Horse. She had a long neck, high withers and very high croup. Many blankets slide down her shoulders even when fully tightened in the chest, and sizing down just makes them too short along the back. The extended neck helps this blanket stay put without having to overly tighten it across the point of the shoulders. She likes it!. I appreciate that Equinavia has added a coated tail strap, which is a big step up from the poly rope that came with the last blanket I got from them. The inside lining is super soft and the shell seems truly rugged. I've tested the waterproofing before and it is really good. The leg straps are a nice, solid web with elastic at one end. Unlike the full elastic ones, they will hold their shape and last a long time. The hardware is good quality stainless steel. Little details like the reflective trim and the reinforcements at the top of the gussets give this blanket a high-quality look. I think this is a great blanket for the price and I will keep ordering Equinavia.
