DG94-00520A Range Igniter
The DG94-00520A Range Igniter ignites to heat a gas oven. You can hear the flames ignite when the oven is initially turned on. Throughout the use of the oven, you will hear it light which is helping the oven maintain the temperature that was set. Your oven igniter might have to be replaced if:
- The gas igniter glows, but will not light
- The oven will not start
- There is little to no heat when baking

This part failed in just under 5 months of light usage and here I am once again buying my 4th igniter for a 3 year old Samsung natural gas range/oven. Tried different brands on here but I think they're all made in the same factory with lots of re branding going on. Sad state of affairs these days regarding quality and more junk soon headed to an Oregon landfill.

At a tenth of the price of the manufacture part this was a no-brainer. Took a few minutes to replace, but worth it. Even if I had to replace this twice a year, it would be cheaper for 5 years than get samsung official version, geez.

I ordered one of these to replace the ignitor in my Samsung gas stove, the first one arrived damaged (heating element was shattered and connector broken). So I ordered a second one. I installed the second one and it initially worked, but by the following day it had stopped working. I don't recommend, better off paying expensive OEM prices, but at least you get something that works

Well last night dinner was almost a bust when our 9 year old Samsung gas range decide it didn't want to heat up the oven even though the top burners were working fine. Knowing I would have to eat again I got online to see what the problem could be. Many answers lead me to a defective ignitor so after watching a couple videos I ordered this replacement ignitor since it could be delivered the next day by 8:00 am. Well I got notification this evening that it was out for delivery and it showed up on my doorstep hours before it was promised. 6screws later like the video said and I can finally bake a cake again. I can't speak to the longevity of this item yet but it fired up just like new.

It worked fine for a year then started having problems lighting the gas. I would intermittently smell gas then there would be a small boom that would shake the oven door. So far it only happens when I first turn the oven on. Time to replace it. I ordered another one of these. My original Samsung one only lasted 3 years and name brand ones sell for $150 to $200. So $25 a year isn't bad.

I was a little skeptical of this because it was so much cheaper than the factory Samsung one. But so far so good I bought 2 just incasee but I have been using the first one for a couple of months almost every day with no problems. I am just keeping the second one as a backup.I could buy 10 of these for the price Samsung wants and so far it works just as well!

Perfect fit and the connector is identical to my OEM igniter on an NX58H5650WS.No need to remove the warming drawer. If you pull the range away from the wall (spring cleaning time) there is actually a hole in the back panel to access the igniter connection. There are YouTube videos showing replacement procedure
