Easy to install if you follow the directions on their website. Used two air soft days so far and has worked without issue.

Random magazine dumps just moving safety switches to semi from the safety setting with finger not even close to the trigger.. many times had to open gear cases to finally get a little consistently . Too many programming options to do just with the trigger. Battery life is really short

My AEG feels more responsive and crisp! Neat how the ETU uses optical sensors to detect the current firing mode and a trigger pull. The instructions from the video & manual found on the ADV website were somewhat adequate enough for a first timer like me. V2 gearbox installation required leaving out the entire trigger contact assembly (obviously), the metal semi-auto cut-off lever, and the plastic lever that locks the trigger during "safe" mode. After that I was able to follow the installation video. Where I essentially screwed in the MOSFET unit, added piece of foam on the trigger, and placed the sticker on the fire selector plate. No soldering required.Initially I did run into issues where the gun would fire without pulling the trigger. Not sure if the metallic gearbox shell surface was causing the ETU to activate. I was able to prevent this by ensuring that no wires covered the ETU's optical trigger sensor and adding a piece of black electrical tape on the inside of the gearbox shell. I haven't run into any issues since. While testing full-auto mode, I incorrectly thought I used the wrong selector plate sticker and tricked the MOSFET into thinking it was still in semi-auto mode. Turns out the two-stage shooting mode is on by default and cannot be disabled. This means that a slow and careful trigger pull always fires off a single shot in full-auto mode. To do full-auto (or burst), simply do a quick and full trigger pull. Honestly I really enjoy this feature as it allows easily firing off single shots while in full auto!Overall, really awesome upgrade to have! Binary semi-auto shooting is very satisfying as well!
