I really like a lot about this doorbell. The real-time chat feature is a game changer and makes communication a breeze! On top of that, the absence of a monthly fee is a huge relief and the easy installation saved me a lot of time. A great addition to my home security system!

This doorbell camera works great and the battery lasts for a long time from what I can tell. It looks nice and the app interface is basic, but fairly easy to navigate and use. I have used Arlo cameras in the past and bought this for an office since Arlo now requires a subscription and Eufy doesn't. The Eufy is very comparable to the Arlo from my experience and it costs less upfront and over the long run since no cloud subscription is required.

I love eufy products and technology. Firstly I ordered a brand. Es and the product delivered was an open box product, so I placed in the return request and it was easy to returned it and get a replacement the day after. The brand new product was great, easy to install and the app did the rest. I connected the ring camera to my front door lock and Alexa devices. It has preset answers, and you can adjust the motion detection at your convenience. The price is very convenient, quality of the video is great and the recording feature is the best. Im a big fan of eufy products and I also purchased the indoor camera and front door lock so more and more eufy devices supporting the security of my household

I really tried hard not to have any complaints about this product but I do have a few . I purchased this about 4 months ago and the battery life in the winter does not last very long when they say it should last up to 6 months before charging. When someone rings the doorbell there is a delay . Talk back works when it feels like it wants when it wants . I was pleased in the beginning but as time went on I found the cons . I like the look of this product but unfortunately it's just not doing what it's intended to do.

Overall this seems like a good doorbell camera and system to invest in if you don’t want another monthly subscription to deal with.Instructions are somewhat vague and not entirely correct. The storage device is not an SD card but a micro SD card. This important information is lacking in a few areas. Initial setup failed 3 times. After moving the unit next to a router things went well. Installation was fairly straightforward, I wired directly to the existing doorbell wiring.The app is easy to navigate and tailor to your preference. Adding another user is somewhat clunky - you can send an invite but they apparently need to setup their own “home” and then add the shared device.Picture quality is decent, even in low light situations. Field of view is also decent at 4’ above doorway, though I might add a small wedge to angle the unit down. I’ve not yet had any false positive alerts, which is nice.

Battery doesn't last very long between charges, especially when it's -30 or lower. Otherwise works very well with clear pictures

5 Stars – Solid Product, Gives Me Peace of MindI’ve had this doorbell camera for about three months now and overall, I’m really satisfied with it. Setup was pretty simple—had a little trouble at first, but once I got it going, everything’s worked smooth. The app works great, the connection is reliable, and the battery life has held up really well.I get alerts every time someone walks by or comes up to the door, and I’ve never had issues checking the camera even while I’m at work. It gives me real peace of mind knowing I can check in and make sure my girlfriend and newborn daughter are safe, especially when I’m not home.Feels good knowing I can keep an eye out in case anyone shady is hanging around. Solid build, good performance—10 out of 10 would recommend. I’d definitely buy it again.

I am so glad I bought this! It connects to WiFi so make sure your WiFi is working well! And the motion detection is incredible, it even tells me when people park next door, it’s high quality so it’s easy to see and we don’t have to charge it very often!

I'm writing this review from the perspective of someone who, as an engineer, has far more tech knowledge than the average person. This product is half baked.Things went ok to start. I unpacked everything (there's some stuff like wires, mounting screws, etc a bit hidden), downloaded the app and inserted a microSD card.I started going through the Add Device on the app. The scan of the QR code on the device did not work well and it took far longer than it should to get it to scan (with my Pixel 9). I had to switch to my 2.4 network and then had more difficulty scanning the QR code the phone generates and the Eufy scans (It needs to be much closer than the stated 8 inches). Once past that, things were going well. Where I wanted to mount it had great WiFi and I mounted it (meawhile, I kept get 'human detected' notifications on my phone). During this setup I could see the live view and it looked great. That completed the install.And then it disconnected. No idea why. I had to Google how to unhook the device from its housing (very frustrating).I brought it back inside. Nothing. I tried to reinstall the device but the QR scan would not access the camera. I uninstalled/reinstalled the app and tried again. It got stuck on the connecting to WiFi section. I Googled how to factory reset it. Started everything from scratch again and same problem.Back in the box and back to Amazon.Congratulations Eufy, I will never buy one of your products again.

At first, this doorbell worked well. There are easy instructions to follow for installation, the photos and video look great. Unfortunately, even while this doorbell is hardwired, it slowly drains the battery and dies. I will have to remove the battery, charge it, and replace it periodically to keep it running. Disappointed since I bought this to avoid needing to recharge.
