There are 3 components of the EVAP system in most vehicles. This canister, the purge valve, and the purge valve solenoid. My check engine light was on. Kept getting EVAP codes, which most people will tell you it’s your gas cap. Now I can deal with a check engine light on a 16 year old truck, but I had another problem. When I would fill my tank with gas, the pressure would shut the pump off because the system wasn’t venting properly. This was pretty annoying because I would constantly have to barely hold the trigger on the pump or it would stop. Took forever to fill the tank. This canister solved the problem. They get plugged up over time and need to be replaced. Fit and function was perfect. Can’t tell the difference between this and OEM. Saved me plenty of cash compared to the parts store.

I had a check engine light on and discovered my original evap canister was plugged up. I tried blowing it out and got a bunch of crap out but still the light persisted. I swapped on this STZJAYE auto canister and within a hour of driving the light went out. They want high dollar for an oem replacement and this unit looks identical. Thick plastic and all the connections fit like oem on my 2011 Silverado. Couldn’t be happier with this auto part purchase.
