I was nervous ordering an exaust on Amazon but everything matched my vehicle and fit perfectly. I still had the original 20 year old exaust on my car. Boy what a difference.

Nothing on this item matches up to a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 5.7L V8. We had to cut and weld pieces to fit into the original exhaust because nothing was bent right or even close. The muffler was even 4 inches shorter than the stock one. The only reason we got the muffler to work is because the flange on the front of it actually is the same as the vehicles original. Had to weld on a sleeve to slide into the existing pipe after bolting up the muffler and cutting off some of the pipe behind the muffler. Not impressed at all.

It fit perfectly. It was simple to install. My old one was a pain to remove but once it was out it was easy to install the new one. The only thing I had a problem with was the rubber hangers, it was a little tough getting them to go on the hooks but over all, easy to install.

It's definitely not an exact fit, but I made it work. You'll need a 4" C-clamp to make the 2 1/2" fastening clamp fit bc it's so snug that it flexes out. I used a reciprocating saw to cut the rusted bolts, pipes, and hangers off. Use a sharpie to mark where the pipes connect so you know you're fully connected. Kit doesn't come with bolts for connecting the muffler, so I bought 2 hefty hex bolts, lock washers, nuts ($5.66). On my 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the mid-pipe hanger wasn't right - several inches too short, but the tail pipe was good. Problem I had was the tail pipe was blowing right into the rear bumper - the pipe isn't aligned right and is too short. Most of the job is getting the rusty junk off and then doing some mods with the hanger and extending the tailpipe. Sound is OEM. Saved money.

For a little over half a year my 2006 grand Cherokee with the 4.7 v8 had no muffler at all and installing this made it so quiet my garage door opener was louder! definitely order two 2.5" u bolt exhaust clamps as the ones that come with it are too small, but all the pieces were bent perfectly and lines up no problem, definitely a 5 star product at a wonderful price.

Clamps were too small. Had to buy two more, adding $30 to the total cost. Hangers were useless and dont fit Mopar products. Had to weld on washers to brachers to fit the correct rubber hangers. What was sent would in no way mount to the vehicle without modifying the vehicle mounts. Relatively easy install over a stock part, but this is nowhere a direct replacement.

2007 Commander. Great for the price. Direct fit and bolted right up. Kit doesn’t include new flange bolts. Rear hanger was not a direct fit and needed a little modification. I would surely buy it again.
