Its a heavy duty piece of rig... well built... but EXTRREMELY hard to assemble... thanks to others warning I went in equipped with clamps and lots of mechanical advantage... elastics are so tight its bending the bottom pipe.... weirdly, for a net that is so tight, it doesn't bounce back very far... Its 'ok' but you have to stand within 20 feet... not good for pitching..

We ordered this rebounder net for my volleyball-fanatic daughter during the extended stay-at-home orders of March 2020. She ordinarily plays club volleyball several times per week and now with the enforced social distancing all activities were of course canceled for the time being. She got restless at home and still wanted to practice her game though, but the house wall didn’t provide enough feedback in the long run.We looked into rebounder nets and it wasn’t easy an easy decision, as most options did not mention ANYTHING at all about usage for the purpose of volleyball training. We looked at smaller frames, but in the end we decided for this bigger 6x6 frame and we are so happy we did. It can be tilted to the players specifications, very sturdy and doesn’t move or wobble, it also folds up easily for storage. It was delivered promptly in a smallish box and had to be assembled, that process took about 45-60 min from start to finish. Instructions were clear, though we needed some muscle strength and team work to get the net bungeed around the frame so it would be nice and even and tight. The materials of this rebounder are great quality, as far as we can tell, powder coated steel and quality bolts and pins. One word of caution if color matters a lot to you, we bought what we thought was a blue frame, but the one we got delivered is a bright, happy orange. That being said, we actually love that color more than the blue, though in the grand scheme of things it actually didn’t matter much.As to the functionality of this rebounder for the purpose of volleyball practice, it is OUTSTANDING! Our daughter absolutely loves it and is able to practice her passes and serves and she is happily occupying a lot of her time outside, either by herself or with another player. Not a regret at all about this purchase, we can only recommend it!PS: We plan on keeping this rebounder our of the elements when not in use, bu storing it somewhat sheltered under our deck. It gets hot in the Southern Texas sun and that isn’t a good thing for the elastics of the net in the long run, hence our precautions.

The construction and quality of this night is great to be quite honest. I got a slightly used one through Amazon warehouse for about 80 bucks and I'm really happy with the purchase. It's bounced back it is consistent and the six-by-six size made it ideal for lacrosse practice.I will say though that getting the net 2 get on there was almost impossible. I had the frame built within about 20 minutes. Then it took me about 3 hours to finally get the net into place. At first the process is very very simple but then obviously as you get towards the corners then that becomes very tight. It doesn't stretch very much and so even following the instructions perfectly there were a couple of bungees I had to leave off. It doesn't affect the performance of the bounce back very much though. It just means that if you get towards the edges of the net like if you trying to shoot to the corners, sometimes the ball will go through. I think that it would actually be a really cool upgrade to have a non stretchy back stop on the corners of the net that prevented the ball from just going through. It's something that with a little bit of sewing skills a person could make themselves.Another option would be to deliberately leave off the bungees on the extreme corners and attach fabric bags to those corners to collect up shot balls... missed shots with Van Gogh either pass the net just like in real life, or would be rejected back to you.

This rebounder is great for back-yard practice. It gives a fast rebound and its large size allows for continued practicing even when a throw misses the strike zone target, since the outer edges of the net also give a good bounce-back. The rebounder has about a half-dozen vertical angle adjustments, to allow for returns as pop-ups, line drives, one-hoppers and grounders. To adjust the angle it is necessary to separately adjust each of the two rear supporting rods, which have push-button release mechanisms. I had to lubricate one of the push buttons on my rebounder. Adjusting the angle is a four-step process, 1: Depress the button on one rod and rotate the retaining tube to keep the button depressed, 2: Depress the button on the other rod and rotate the retaining tube, 3: Adjust the rebounder to the new angle and set the new angle by rotating the retaining tube back to allow the button to pop into place, and 4: Go back to the first rod and set the matching new angle by rotating the retaining tube back to allow that rod's button to pop into place. The adjustment is easy once you learn the simple sequence and requires about thirty seconds. The net is big enough to allow for rebounds at horizontal angles, to practice moving to one's left and right. On grounders, don't forget to bend your knees (as one of my softball teammates has reminded me) and to get your back level with the ground, as helpfully explained in a YouTube video showing Derek Jeter's technique for catching ground balls. This rebounder is not portable, except by truck. The set-up took me about forty-five minutes, working alone. I set the center bungees first on each of the four sides, then the half-way bungees in each segment, then the final bungees. The final bungees were difficult. I used pieces of rope wrapped two or three times around the bar and through the net squares to produce a mechanical advantage (like a pulley system) when pulling the net close enough to the bar to hook the bungees.
