It's soooo great in person. It's metal so very durable! However, it's a little hard to get it to light up and make noise and when it does hold your ears lol But my 2yr old grandson LOOOOVED it!

F16 Airplane Toy, Fighter Jet Toy for Kids, Pull Back Toy Jets, Diecast Airplanes Model with Light & Sound, Metal Airplane Gifts for Kids DecorThis is a pretty realistic jet (except for the two large wheels that facilitate the pull-back mechanism). The sound and lights are activated by the landing gear wheels. This feature has caused many unintended presses, because the weight of the plane rests on the landing gear. My 8 year old finds it so loud that he will cover the two tiny holes underneath where the speakers are until the sound stops (18 seconds). A solution would be affixing a piece of tape to the little holes.The jet is made from a high-quality plastic, my son thought it was metal until we tested it with a magnet. So quality-wise, it's quite good. It's the type of toy that'll last a long time and maybe be one of those toys you find 20 years later and have fond memories of. There are not a lot of toys these days that are like that anymore; most of the toys are of a cheaper plastic that'll either break from use or crack from age.As a parent, I find the price to be a bit higher than I'd like to pay, but I suppose if it's a toy the child would really enjoy or for a gift, then I can see the price being justified under those circumstances. Overall, he enjoyed playing with it and had a lot of fun with it.

Probably won't hold up to much aggressive play time but looks nice from a distance as a display item for those that love airplanes.

but collectors of die-cast aircraft will be disappointed. It's puzzling that the insignia on the wings has been left uncolored, and the leading edges of all the flyinng surfaces are, quite unrealistically squared off. Bear in mind that a 1/72 scale model is pretty small. Kids from 5 to 8 or 9 will enjoy this. Older ones may want a model more faithful to the original.
