XFLY MODEL F-22 RAPTOR Twin 40MM EDF PNP

First scale jet in the twin 40mm EDF lineup from XFly Model!

Center of Gravity(CG)

F-22 CG

OVERVIEW

XFly Model is proud to announce its first scale jet F-22 Raptor in the twin 40mm EDF lineup. For the purpose of making it as most streamlined and true-to-scale as possible, XFly team equips the F-22 with twin power system setup and reserves scale details including air inlet, cockpit, nozzle and full-flying horizontal stabs.

The factory-installed power system, including twin efficient 1413-KV5000 brushless motors and twin 20A brushless ESCs, paired with a 4S LiPo battery, delivers an abundance of thrust for fast climbs, rolls, loops and endless fun for high alpha flying due to the F-22’s low wing load and full flying stabs. A flight time of around 3-8 mins can be achieved with proper throttle management.

Perfectly fitted landing gear design helps keep the plane lightweight and make take off & landing smooth. Landing gears can be easily removed for more speed and vertical performance while utilizing the molded-in finger grips. Thanks to the F-22’s high alpha capability, you can even get hold of the plane by hand with an ease when landing.

Well pleased with this purchase. Came double boxed, assembly 30mins or less. Installed a Spektrum AR630 safe receiver, programed my Spektrum NX-8+ with some minimal AS3X gyro gains and this plane fly's really well. Its no speed demon but it does decent on the 4s 2600mAh packs. I used HRB 2600mAh batteries, that battery fills the battery tray completely, so this is the max you can go. I get 4.5 mins easy on this size battery. The plane lands fantastic with the big wings. The twin 40s sound really cool too. Hand launching is good with extra speed, but I prefer using the gear as it lands so well. Lots of good videos and reviews too to help you get this plane flying. You must supply your own receiver and transmitter.

It states in the description that this is a pnp airplane. That means you must provide your own receiver and transmitter. People need to do some research before ordering any rc airplane. If you want it to be a complete package you need to order a rtf (ready to fly) airplane.

Best RC jet ever. Flew better than my other jets in my fleet.

Unusable out of the box. Requires purchase of battery, radio controller, and radio receiver, and does not mention this on the listing (does mention, in the details that battery is not included, but no mention of receiver or controller).
