The module works just as you’d expect. It switches a 12v input with no issues. I’m using mine to control a 12v input going in to a DC-DC charger so that it only takes amperage from my running engine if the sun isn’t out… saving fuel economy this way. I’m happy with the function.

These sensors are an incredible value. $19 (Sep '23) will give me a meh pizza and a soda filled half with ice. Don't get me wrong, I really do like Pizza, but I also love cheap electronic parts that let me build projects that would have cost hundreds of dollars just a couple years ago. These switch my outdoor lights much more reliable and at a fraction of the cost what the big box stores ask for a dedicated low voltage photo resistor switch. Five stars from me. I hope this helps to make a decision.
