This gives you a handle like a baitcaster on a spinning reel. I ordered this thinking of it as more of a novelty, but upon installing on a reel, I have to say that it feels quite nice and looks pretty unique. I've never seen anything like this and it fit like a glove. The crank itself is made of of metal so it should last a long time it didn't hinder the way you reel in at all. In fact, it possibly makes the experience more efficient. I would buy again.

Great replacement handle for spinning reel. This handle has a metal/aluminum main frame, steel shaft and steel securing screw, but a plastic screw cap. Plenty good for standard/economy reels, nice to have a balanced double handle.
