I confirmed with Felpro tech support that this set can be used in marine applications IF you are running closed cooling system. The intake and plenum gaskets definitely match what I took off the boat, and engine was previously installed by a Mercruiser dealer.Note that the exhaust gaskets are not as pictured. Felpro changed manufacturing so that exhaust gaskets are now per cylinder, not the one piece arrangement as shown.

This gasket set says it will fit a 1996 Gen 6 454. Some of the gaskets will fit but not the intake manifold gaskets. The kit gaskets are 6 hole and the Gen 6 454 are 8 hole. (Per side)

I used this kit while doing the head gaskets on my 1997 Suburban k2500 with the 7.4L vortec motor. Every gasket was a perfect match and seems to be a great quality. Fixed my suburban right up!
