I've been playing for over 40 years, so I'm used to pro-level instruments (which this is not). But for beginners, this is a good starting point. I was most impressed with the sound itself which, although a little bright, still had a decent amount of lows. The action was way too high out of the box, but included in the box was an Allen wrench for adjusting the truss rod. (If you don't know what that means, you MUST look it up since you will eventually have to do the adjustment.) The finish is more matte than gloss, which is a matter of preference. For 120 bucks, I think this is a good quality instrument and a good value.

Superfast shipping and well packaged. IT WAS TUNED OUT OF THE BOX!! That is the first time I have had that happen. Excellent guitar if you are a beginner or if you've been playing for 50 years like me. I love the resonance sound that this instrument makes. I am so glad that I purchased this guitar. It is so fun to play and after all..........ITS A FENDER!!!!!!!!!

The Fender California Debut Redondo Series Guitar Pack is the kind of starter kit that actually makes you excited to practice (instead of frustrated five minutes in, LOL). Like really! Im new to guitar and I have one already, but its so hard. This feels so different and I dont know why?? It’s easy to play, sounds great right out of the box, and comes with everything you need—stand, gig bag, and a solid 2-year warranty for peace of mind!PROS:• Smooth playability, perfect for beginners.• Includes gig bag, stand, and accessories.• Natural finish looks clean and classic.• 2-year warranty = stress-free attempted-strumming ;)• Great Fender sound without a crazy price.CONS:• No built-in electronics for amp hookup. (your gonna need a mic)• Might feel large for very young beginners.A beautiful, beginner-friendly guitar bundle that makes learning fun, easy, and frustration-free. Fender quality without the intimidating price tag—what’s not to love.. Oh right, my playing :) LOL it will get better, I promise! :)

Good guitar and sound is great, but the extra acoustic guitar strings did not come in the package. The three month subscription code didn't work either. Will I ever get them or is was false advertisement?

Wow, what a surprise! This sounds pretty good for a beginner level guitar. I was expecting a shallow, weak sound. After tuning it, I played a few chords and riffs, and to my surprise, it sounds amazing. It's not as rich and deep as my Taylor and Takmine, but good nonetheless. There are a few minor complaints I have though. The body/soundboard is rather thin. The seam/binding of the front and back body is not smooth. There is a noticeable lip and some glue residue. Also, there was what appears to be some sawdust on the bridge. These little things don't affect the sound quality, but a little extra attention to detail would be nice. Finally, I felt that the neck is heavier than the body. After attaching the strap to the buttons, the whole guitar just tilted neck-side down. My other 2 guitars do not do this. Hmm... The guitar stand is decent, and the gig bag should only be used to carry the guitar. It is thin and not padded at all offering minimal protection. Anyway, for the price point, this set is great. Hopefully, my child will be interested enough to pick it up and start playing around.

This dreadnought debut Redondo looks great plays great would buy again and recommend this guitar I have many guitars and for a take anywhere campfire sing along etc. guitar this is it. And if you are a beginner you want this guitar so you know what a guitar should sound like and should play like. Only needed tuned out of the box intonation was fine which is a switch I have to adjust out of the box usually have to adjust the truss rod and loosen they tend to have them to tight so got turn to make lose but this one was already. Don't be afraid to get this one. P.S. even though the description tells you it has pick-up under saddle and needs alkaline battery it doesn't this is just regular Guitar that is very misleading but still a good guitar and no free lessons either no codes came with it
