Not as sturdy as I needed it to be, but it did the job. You need to carry from the bottom of the base. If carried from sides the base starts to bend a bit. The lid stays on the base very tight not loose at all. The base is a gold and black color. Next time I think I will buy a cake base (cardboard base) to give reinforcement on the tray.
