Made our village to cute but the top of the fire flame was not attached well (glue seemed to have been dried and cracked off)

I unpacked the item first time using it since purchasing it . Plugged it in and within 5 seconds I could smell it overheating and it was hot. I bought the legacy plug to use with it instead of using batteries. The plug was new also. I can’t use the item so I pulled the wires off . And reused the plug with another lemax item.

The flickering effect of the fire is really cool. It makes for quite a cozy, pleasant little scene. I wish the battery pack was smaller, because it's kind of hard to hide, but you can't really avoid that.
