I'm older, with some arthritis in my hands. I can't brute force things like I could years ago. The bags do not want to go in between the spring coils. They're gonna fight you every inch of the way. I used some Dawn soap mixed with water in a squirt bottle, which helped grease the bags between the coils but also made them that much harder to grip.I hosed all the dirt out from the wheel well, springs, spring saddles, etc. Didn't want dirt to get inside the bags or inside the air lines.The instructions say to cut 3" long pieces of air hose and install to the bag, then squeeze the air out of the bag, then cap the air hose with little red plugs. The plugs fall out easily, then the bag self-inflates, then you gotta start all over. Maybe wrap some duct tape around the red plugs?Think hard about where you want the air hoses to go. Don't charge into it. They give you an adequate length of air hose but not enough to make mistakes. You gotta avoid mufflers, pinch points, etc.I bought some heavy duty fuel hose and ran the air lines inside the fuel hose to protect them. When routing the lines, remember that your car is up on jacks. When it's back on its feet there's gonna be a partial loop of extra air line. You don't want that air line to flap around and maybe rub up against the tires. On the other hand you don't want to route the air hoses so tight that the up's and down's of normal driving exert strain on any part.If I had to do it again I'd pay a shop to install. Happy with the end result. Our 2010 Prius was sagging with a bike rack and two heavy bicycles. The ride is a bit stiffer of course and you can feel a little bit of boinging but that's understandable. The air bags added spring, but the damping didn't change.
