Sharp sharp teeth slice through the grain for minimal chips, while breaking waste for better chip clearance. The result is a bit that cuts faster and lasts up to three times longer than a standard Forstner drill bit. Use them to drill angled holes, overlapping holes and flat bottom holes that are precisely true to size. They also excellent for drilling into the final grain without deviating. Features: The wavy edge cuts like a knife to guide the tip and keep it on track. The serrations help to break waste for better chip clearance. Low friction and less heat for longer life. Eine gute Investition, wenn es darum geht, exakte Löcher zu bohren.Große Auswahl an gängigen Durchmessern.Lange Standzeit der Schneide, bei der Verwendung in Weichholz.(Bei der Verwendung in Hartholz, wären Hartmetall bestückte Bohrer besser geeignet.)Selbst die Holzkasette ist von hoher Qualität und bietet einen guten Schutz der Bohrer.Das Arbeiten damit macht richtig Spaß!

Superb drills, super sharp and cut with ease. They're accurate, and leave a beautiful finish. My only slight complaint is they generally drill slightly undersize (few 10ths of a mm). Great assortment of sizes.

Fisch forstner bits are undoubtedly the best in the world. I have been holding back until I see this latest Amazon deal. At just over $200/set this Amazon deal is a steal. I don't know what exactly is behind the arrangement, but for some reason, the identical metric set at Rockler is selling for $579. It might have to do with US/Euro currency and inventory situation. Make a note that this seller is Amazon Global and the item is shipped from Italy and the shipping take about 4~5 days which is remarkable considering ZERO shipping charge. These Forstner bits cut perfect holes with very little tear out on the back mostly due to the sharpness of its wave edge design and high quality steel so little downward pressure is needed. It literally cuts by itself. My old Steelex Imperal set is no match. I only wish the same deal can be found for the Imperal set.

Ich habe bisher mehrere Bohrungen mit verschiedenen Durchmessern ausgeführt und bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis. Präzise Löcher ohne Ausfransungen an den Rändern. Die Wärmeentwicklung bei den großen Bohrern und tiefen Bohrungen ist erfreulicherweise sehr moderat.
