I ordered this two-pack because I have a few fishing-reel handles that I don’t particularly like. I like the design, quality, and feel of these handles. I especially like the push-button collapsible handle. I also like the versatility of these handles because they’re supposed to fit multiple sizes of reels (1000-4000). They were easy to install on my reels and function great with these handles. Overall, I am satisfied with these handles and have no problems to report.

5 stars since it worked fine for my cheapo Bill Dance Quantum 40 size reel. The toothed end of the new crank handle matched the toothed gear in the reel well enough.

I got a cheap rod and reel combo that I've been trying out this early summer for bass fishing. I ordered this simply because I have a lot of reels, and will most likely need some spare parts due to wear and tear. It just so happened that last week I booked a monster bass that ended up dragging me out of the weeds! Half way through reeling in, my handle broke. Thankfully I already ordered this, because all I had to do was go home and swap it out! It actually feels nicer than the handle that broke too, and has a nice eva foam padded handle tip for your fingers! This comes with two reels handles as well just in case! Overall this has proved to be a lifesaver. My best advice is to get one of these to prepare for the future, as it felt so good not having to rush to the store for a fix. One thing to note is that my kastking sharky 3 reel did not fit these, so it may only fit select reels.

Our niece was "helping" to put the rods away and crammed them in the bed, breaking the handle off of my Lew's reel. Lew's site only showed the double handle style that doesn't match the one that came on it. Got this 2-pack and it fit great. I only had to use the included red washer but read the comment on using a star tooth style if it ever starts to slip. The teeth meshed up well on my reel's mount. Included a pic so you can see if it matches yours.Love that it has the button for folding it.

Perfect fit for 2000, 3000, and 4000, but definitely too long for a 1000, because the hex shaft sticks out of the reel. I like the included fiber washers and love the pushbutton folding option that makes it easier to pack reels for travel without having to dissasemble them or remove them from the rod. The asking price is very reasonable. Great product!

First, I want to say that the crank arm themselves seem fine so far. Better quality feel than OEM (well, from budget reels like I have anyway).I got these to work on two reels: first, a Shakespeare Durango 2235 reel. This reel had arrived without a crank arm at all. I also have an Abu Garcia RedMax reel, so I swapped the AG OEM crank arm off of that to the Shakespeare, which fit and worked just fine. In the meantime I ordered this set to replace the RedMax and to have a spare. As you can see in the picture, the metal hex part of the rod is about the same length as the RedMax crank. The hex rod fit and mated perfectly with the reel internals in both cases. But when I tightened it down, it was dragging tighter or loosening. So why isn't it working correctly? Well the reason is obvious if you look at the screw cap from the RedMax crank arm (right side). That's not a flat washer, as is provided in this kit, but a washer with an integral spacer. To tighten the included crank end screw cap down without a spacer drags the screw cap against the reel housing as you crank the arm. To make this work correctly, I 3D-printed a spacer ~4.5mm long, 3mm hole, and 1.2mm wall: it's the light green thing on the middle screw. It's a tight fit but it works to extend the end clamping surface enough to prevent drag. Now, far from being particular to just this kit, every single crank arm with a 25mm long hex rod and a flat washer only - which is basically all of them that I can find on Amazon - will have this issue, at least with these reels. Says these should be good for size 1000-4000 reels (i.e., "medium" size), which isn't really an official sizing, but I'd say both of these reels should be about 2000 size equivalents. It would be a really nice thing for them to start including spacers in these kits. As all of them should, but none do. Or you can hope you have access to a 3D printer. Or maybe just wrap some stiff wire a few mm's up from the flat washer might work.As I wrote above, the crank arm itself is smooth and seems heavier-duty than the extremely light plastic handle that came with the RedMax. If more time with it reveals any defects I'll return and tell ya.

Good quality metal handles for the medium size spinning reels, from about 1000-4000 sized reels. Price is great for a two pack. Keep a spare in the tackle box, just might save your fishing trip.
