We bought a great started fishing pole set from our local outdoor store, with great use for the first day. Then the next morning, I caught my 10 year old son "adjusting" the setting on the reel and then making his first cast of the day. To my surprise, I heard an extra "plunk" sound in the water and realized he had accidentally loosened the reel handle and it went flying off. I've had a hard time finding a replacement, until now.This fit great as a replacement, and has also been a good fit on some of the other adult rods we have around the house. Overall, seems to be a general fit for most of the options we had lying around and has a good weight to it. Feels sturdy and don't expect any problems with it. If you need a replacement or just a different style handle, this is worth a try!

Need reel replacements for my two LL Bean reels that have seen many saltwater fishing trip over the years. The reels fo fit and will work, just wished they were a little bit bigger and had a different handle. Looking forward to a surf fishing trip soon so I can fully try them out but very happy I was able to replace my old ones.
