Two small rubber parts went missing on my car. No one at repair shop taking blame - and car is always garaged at home. Price wasn't an object for replacement... it's that the parts do not exist! Seems they were rarely included on the vehicle when new, have no part number on any factory (or aftermarket) parts list - and being nearly 20 years old, they were obviously made from Unobtanium.I refuse to leave my car in less than perfect condition so I purchased this sheet rubber, used tracing paper to layout the shape and cut rubber to create the missing part (cover).Unfortunate that rubber was shipped rolled, but allowing it to rest for a few weeks under a weighted board worked perfectly. Cut the shapes and a few long, very thin strips for edging and used E600 to put the pieces together. Clamped loosely (you really cannot squeeze a slab of rubber laterally) and left to fully cure for 72 hours. They'll be ready to mount with a few small dabs of E600 in a few days!
