So far, it has been a good receiver in my on road car. It a plus to not have an antenna wire out of it. It helps the layout on the car and nothing to get tangled in. Response time is good with my Noble Pro. Totally satisfied with it.

I ended up returning 2 of them because of my mistake for not Updating the Recievers before Binding them! Totally my fault! The FGR4 has better range for 1/8 Scale Off-Road over the FGR4S even on large tracks it don't miss a beat! I mainly use the FGR4S for indoor carpet tracks. Both are great Recievers!

The price for these new receivers is a little steep but they are excellent. Tons of range, easy to configure and update. They are a small form factor so they fit pretty much anywhere on a rig (even inside the stock traxxas waterproof receiver boxes). The additional channels worked well for my TRX4 with the high/low gear and front/rear diff locks. I still have additional channels I can use for lights and a winch if I add them in the future. This was a better fit than having two 4 channel receivers linked together and made it worth the $50 price tag. Overall I would order again for any RC vehicle that requires more than 4 channels.

Small compact size. Fits nicely in my Notorious 6s receiver box with lots of extra space left. Updated to latest firmware and working perfectly so far.

I put this in an Arrma Limitless, along with a high speed, high torque Savox digital servo. Since I'm using the just released firmware for the Noble NB4, I did run the receiver updater app from the PC through the transmitter. You do need to cross the proper pins sideways to put it in update mode of course, but it updated without issue and had no issue binding. Details are on the flysky site if you've never updated an RX before. The response from this receiver paired with the NB4 is impressive. Immediately apparent when driving a car capable of 150mph+. Drifting around at lower speeds, you still feel like you have so much more time to make small corrections. I know people have tried to figure out what the latency is exactly, since Flysky just says
