Flysky has been my go to now for several years. It is pretty inexpensive but out performs most expensive brands in my opinion. I don't need a lot of fancy features, so range and control is most important to me since I fly mainly fixed wing. I have easily tested these to a range of 1 mile using an FS6 with some obstructions, not that I fly that far or ever would but I don't want my planes to lose signal at 300' either.
