If you're like me and you are driving an older vehicle that doesn't have factory Apple Carplay or Android Auto you're really missing out. This upgraded stereo fit pretty nicely in my WRX and allowed me to move from 20th century technology to modern tech in just a few hours.

The wireless Android Auto is incredibly convenient. I never have to fumble with cables anymore. The touchscreen works like a tablet—super responsive. Sound is rich with good bass. It’s a must-have upgrade.

I tried two different but similar systems for our 2012 Forester. In fact what it really came down to was the steering wheel setup to control volume, etc was not clear with this one. I tried to follow the broken instructions but the controls wouldn't work like I wanted them tool. While I had to find an app on the other unit it worked.But these are nice upgrades over the big box that came with the car plus the additional features. Unfortunately, I think it comes down to setting up the Google system with an easy to use interface. And as typical it's probably because Google wants their apps in front. This does work in our Subaru with an Apple iPhone.
