This adapter works great on my Nikon Z7. I have a large collection of vintage lenses from different manufacturers and I use Fotasy adapters with all of them to mount on my Nikon Z7 and also my Fuji GFX 50R. I've never had a problem with any of the adapters. Highly recommend!

Purchased to adapt a Vivitar 135mm lens in Konica AR mount to my Nikon Z bodies. Maintains infinity focus with no noticeable play. Perfectly acceptable mounting on both ends. Not to tight for either the body or lens. I just wish it included caps to keep the interior clean.

The lock mechanism does not lock the lens in place tight.
