Does exactly what it’s supposed to do, let’s me use my vintage lenses on my Fuji. Solid construction. Idk why people spend upwards of 50 dollars on others

So first, the good news-- it does adapt my Hexanon AR mount lenses to my Fuji X-T3. Mounted lenses can focus to infinity, as well as close-up. So optically, it works (I say optically-- there are no optical elements, but it does put the lens at the correct distance from the sensor). However, it's very finicky to get it to mount on the AR lens-- you have to fiddle, and there are no markings I could find to help line it up quickly. Further, the locking pin for the lens does not engage. The friction is tight enough the lens is unlikely to fall out, but over time, this may change.Mounting to the Fuji body is slightly less fiddly, but again, the locking mechanism does not engage. I'll have to remember this, as one of my lenses is a Hexanon AR UC 80-200mm f/4, and as you might expect, it's an old, heavy lens-- being able to remove it from the camera body by simply twisting the lens is... disappointing.

Using cheap adapters to mount non-native lenses onto a camera body will always lead to compromise. I am okay with compromise. I am using Konica AR mount lenses adapted to a Fuji X-T1 body. You do hear and feel it lock into place. But there is a slight clockwise/anti-clockwise play once a lens is attached and the combination mounted. It is not much but I notice it. As I stated in the headline... It does work and doesn't stop me from using this combination. For the low cost, I will take play as opposed to never being able to fully lock my combo onto a body or worse, it becoming stuck on the body.

I found that with adapters such as this one, you can use some of the really fine lenses from older film cameras on the new mirrorless Fuji X series and other brands of cameras. You must use manual, but, if you are a film shooter, then this is what we had to do to use those lenses anyway.

Great adapter. Fits tight on my XT2 and the 3 old Konica lenses that I have put on my camera fit great and work perfect.

I have a few Hexanon AR lenses that I wanted to use on my Fuji X-Pro1. Two of the lenses are especially sharp and produce pleasant bokeh, and the 40/1.8 is nice and small; it would have made a really nice compact kit.The Fotasy adapter seemed well built and it mated well with the X-Pro body - there was no play that I could detect. The lens fit snugly however THAT turned out to be the problem. The aperture ring for a Hexanon AR lens is on the proximal end of the lens. With the lens mounted to the adapter, it was nearly impossible to adjust the aperture. Since using these lenses on a digital camera requires setting aperture manually (as well as manual focus,) this problem rendered the lenses useless for use on the Fuji.I also ordered an OM to Fuji X adapter and it worked perfectly. That is largely because the Olympus OM lenses have the aperture ring on the opposite end of the lens barrel, so it is impossible for the mount to impede adjustment.I returned the adapter for refund. I could have returned for exchange, but I didn't have confidence that it would make a difference. Besides, I have far more OM lenses than Hexanon; I am content with reserving the Hexanons for use on Konica film bodies.

It fit perfectly to my Fuji X-T1. First times you may have difficulties. You may have to use force a little bit. Afterall all my old konica lenses are functional again and I enjoy them very much.

Once attached to the lens doesn't let the aperture ring move freely. Not sure if mine was defective or just poorly built.Bought the Pixco one and works flawlessly!

I'm still new to my X-E1 but got this K/AR adapter and the Contax G adapter with my camera and have been pleased with the initial results. The old glass works well with the new camera. It will be a handy accessory, I believe.
