The original resistor on my 1988 Toyota Pickup failed on all positions except on high (position 4). The Four Seasons Resistor was an exact match of the original resistor and fit perfectly.

This resistor lasted for one week before two of the speeds burned out. The ceramic paste that is supposed to keep the coils apart, cracked and allowed the coils to touch, thus reducing the blower to two speeds. I ended up buying a genuine Toyota part from an online discount Toyota parts company for around $15 and it works perfectly. Sometimes it's better to buy original parts, I guess.
