Quality is not disappointing. You get what you pay for. This is for bigger applications since the leaves/tines are relatively big.

Had a fifty year old version of this that was made of metal. Had corroded over the years and was hard to get it to get the right shape. Ordered the 5" model to go around door openings when installing flooring. while it works, I should have gotten the longer one. Only real complaint I have it that neither end will fit up snugly to the wall. there is about 1/2 inch on each end without any fingers. Saw this on picture before I purchased but didn't realize it would be as big of a problem as it is. My old metal one had less than a 1/16" of dead space. It holds shape great once you lock it. Worth the money to buy.
