We were troubled with foxes and wildcats killing our chickens. Since having the lamp we have not had a problem. The battery lasts for ages, we haven’t had to replace it after 9 months of use. It’s expensive but worth it. Highly recommended.

This has worked well to keep skunks from going under my wooden deck… spraying….and stinking up the whole house. The battery went dead and I didn’t notice it because it only comes on at night and I didn’t notice right away but the skunk came right back and sprayed again!! It does have a pretty bright white, red and blue light that I’m not sure my neighbors probably like …Sorry :)

I like that it is a flashing light of several colors, the reviews indicated it helps keep preditors away - I am in a suburb but coyotes are everywhere. I still stand at the door and watch my medium sized dog do her business at night, but I'm not so anxious that I'm outside freezing with a high powered flashlight on alert for coyotes, we also have a large dog, she wasn't annoyed by the flashing light once she realized it was there to stay. I was hoping it would keep rabbits and squirrels safe from my dogs - but no. The battery is lasting a good long time. I keep expecting it to dim and die, but it hasn't

Too many sleepless nights listening to the pack of coyotes that we have around us so needed to find a solution. Not sure if these are the reason our animals and fowl have stayed safe but has given a peace of mind.I've had raccoons, fox, skunk, and deer on my front porch or right next to it but chickens, ducks, and large animals have been safe just a few hundred feet away.Only ones bothering our chickens and ducks are gophers and skunk. The skunk seem to stay away until first light. I added solar predator eye lights to the mix too. So far coops have kept the safe with lights. The coyotes have steered clear completely from ours and adjoining land. Like literally would be howling within 100 ft of our animals. Goats and mini donkey are much more calm at night and actually use shelters now since installing lights. I have 2 in the pasture near them and one on side of coop a bit further up.No issues through heavy rain and same battery for 4mos that hopefully will last a few more. Now the high heat and beating sun are the next trial for the lights over the next few months. Almost considering putting out at night and taking into the house in the day just to keep batteries from the heat.Considering getting a 4th for our orchard as we have one buck who seems to think our place is a good diner to eat at and at this rate our grapes and fruit will never be tasted by us. Had the gall to eat my little apple tree in a place that wasn't easy for it to get to and no fear to drink from troughs with goats or eat the bird seed within a feet feet of the house. There's plenty of blackberry bushes and clover on our property for deer to eat and ground squirrels, moles, mice, birds, wild turkey, quail and more for the raccoons, fox, coyote for those that think we should share the property with the wildlife.

Produit conforme à nos attentes. Les flash sont très puissants et nous espérons que cela pourra faire fuir les renards qui nous ont tué 2 oies et 3 poules. Affaire à suivre !

I just payed a small fortune cause I want to believe that it can help against attacks from the fox towards my lambs and chickens.I would say for now that it have costed a PREMIUM price, but I finally received it today. I popped the new battery in, and took it to a pitchblack room.Hmmmmmm, a big NOTHING happened, but one thing is for sure something is rattling inside where the LEDs are. Like something is loos. I am SURE that I could open it and check, but then BANG warranty gone I guess.

Our farm in NC is right next to one of the top 10 State Parks in the US and we have every critter that walks, crawls, or flies to cope with. I first got one of these to put around our chicken coop that something had been messing with. I wanted two but only had one in stock. I guessed it worked we didn't have any more trouble with the chicken coup. I must add that our fields are completely surrounded by electric fencing, so we don't have a lot of trouble with the walking critters, but the flying critter are something else. Our fields are surrounded by woods and are like the owl's buffet table. Great Horned owls especially. We gave up keeping Guinea Fowl because of them. This winter we lost 5 guinea hog piglets in four days to the owls. We had the one strobe light mounted there. I looked at the mfg.'s video again and saw they recommended at least two lights, so I ordered two more. ( I get them like the next day, I don't know how they do that ), but anyway we put them in a triangle around the pig enclosure and darn if we have not lost a single pig (or anything else ) since. Pricey but worth it to me, we will be ordering more in the future as we expand to other fields. I think they will help keep two legged critters away also. Regular 6 volt lantern batteries last about 5 -6 months. Plus it looks like a flying saucer has landed on your farm.

My Foxlight worked good for about 8 months. noticed it had gone dark one night assumed it was the battery. Went out a few days later to change the battery only find it was full of water??? The top clear cap was tight as well as the lower battery cap so I assumed it had a crack in the clear cap because there was quite a bit of water I could see through the clear cap? I took it inside and took it apart only to find nothing cracked on the cap or the housing??I contacted the manufacturer and got this response:I am sorry to hear of your light failure. This would have been caused by water getting on the power board and corroding the electronics. The water would have got in by condensation being drawn past the cap seal by it not being on tight enough. The importance of this being screwed on firm hand tight is stated clearly on instructions along with the point that the warranty is void if water is aloud to enter the unit. Replacement power boards are easily fitted and can be purchased through one of my retailers in the States at a cost of app $30.00. Her contact details are:-Im a strong guy so In my opinion I do not think the seals are working properly because I had them tight!
