The MS 7/8 - 14 THD port is large enough to be used for filling. The magnet filled drain plug is the same MS port as the dipstick. Both the dipstick and drain are O-ring sealed. The sending unit fitting is 1/8 THD tubing and with a stainless tube plug. The calibration plug is centered on the serial number plate and approximates the stock cover fill plug for the factory fluid level. The O-ring snaps into the inverted "V" groove for a positive seal without gasket or silicone. Plugs, screws and washers are stainless steel in most applications. Perfect fit on my 06 with upgraded steering. Really close but no rubbing. Just what I wanted and perfect match for the rear too. Just get it!

Looks great in the box. If you have a 2012 Ram 2500, it won't clear the OEM steering stabilizer, even if you cut down the U-bolts. Installed it, looked like it should clear, and one day of driving later it has abiut a 2" gouge out if it. The company says the clearance issue was addressed, well that's obviously incorrect. They also acknowledge that it may not fit, bit if it doesn't, it isn't their fault (says nothing about fitment issues in the package, you have to hunt it down on their website). Positive note: It doesn't leak, and looks good if you aren't real close.

Not very easy to install, it is a very tight fit getting in in. But it us build like a brick house...

I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 5.9 diesel. The cover fit perfect. Holds four quarts instead of 2. Had to jack up the frame on the drivers side to get to the top bolts on the diff cover. Swing arm blocks the bolts. Other than that, no rubbing when turning right or left. Perfect!

The fit and finish on this piece is outstanding.Well engineered, fit perfectly. They even give you a extra bolt just in case. Gotta love a company like that.

2012 Ram 3500 4wd. Steering stabilizer u-bolted bracket came in contact with cover before full lock to left. Had to trim bracket to get it to clear. Not an issue if you’re mechanically inclined. Very stout cover, stainless hardware and O-ring gasket.

Fit great on my 06 ram 3500. No interference. Took 4 qts on a over night drain. Comes with a very good gasket. Looks good. Gits good.Bought the rear and trans pan also.
