Maybe I misunderstood the purpose of this tool. I bought it to squeeze the quick disconnect device into my 2004 Ford diesel fuel line connection. The gap in the tool's jaw is too wide to work. From everything I saw here I thought that was what it was made for. Returned it and bought a set of better quick release tools with handles.

Quality of the steel i there but the rubber handle don't stay on ... missing of quality control on that part

The tool worked exactly as I needed it for. The rubber grips slid right off but didn't affect the functionality of it.

These pliers need to have rubber grips on the handles other than that they are great pliers for the price.

Functioned exactly as one would hope. Big help removing a stubborn Ford fuel line, wish I would have had them sooner. Also helps with coolant line removal and EVAP line that you may not want to damage with a flat head screwdriver.
