These fuel line disconnect pliers worked great for removing stubborn fuel lines quickly and without damage. The grip is comfortable, and the design made it easy to access some tight spots. A must-have for anyone doing fuel system work much easier and safer than prying with screwdrivers. Solid build quality too. Definitely worth keeping in the toolbox.

I recently used this fuel and AC line disconnect tool set when I was replacing the fuel filter on my truck, and these tools made the job much easier. The various sizes in the set cover most common fuel and AC lines, so I did not have to search for the right one. The plastic tools slide into place firmly, and they release the lines cleanly without damaging them. The quick disconnect plier for the larger lines was also a lifesaver, especially for those stubborn connectors that are hard to reach. These tools are a must-have for anyone doing their own automotive maintenance.

the pliers feel sturdy, and the hinge feels relatively tight and precise. the steel is surprisingly heavy for the price.Unless I am missing something, these are mostly useful for the push in clip style fittings that you commonly see on fuel, vacuum, and sometimes transmission cooler lines. Are they necessary? almost definitely not, but they do make your life easier and saves you some struggling with disconnect clips, and I could see them helping to separate some O ringed lines from their seat like on an AC system or some transmission or power steering lines. So its not the most useful tool but if you like making your life easier, they are worth a shot at around the $12 ish price point.

My son and I like to work on cars in our spare time and I have been slowly building up my custom/specialty tool collection to make different projects easier to do. Came across this and figured it would make a nice and affordable addition to the collection. Although we haven't specifically needed it yet, we did test it out and it appears to be well made and easy to use. Worked great for our testing and the size allows it to get where we need it and still be able to grip it.

They feel cheap and have no spring back action to them. They action on them is very tough and not fluent. I don't like them and will not use them

These fuel and a/c line disconnect pliers are the tool I didn’t know I needed. What a great invention. When I came across them, I had to get them. The pliers work as advertised. They’re sturdy. I really like them. Very helpful for those tight spaces.A couple improvements I’d make is 1. I wish the starting position of the jaws was closer together, so it could fit in tighter spaces and maybe get a better pull. And 2. The openings of the jaws where the hose goes, if they could be adjustable somehow to fit various hose thicknesses (like some wrenches), then the sky is the limit for this tool.FYI - this did not work on a small vacuum line :)

I used to use the line disconnect tools by hand. Normally struggling to get the tool into place for the line to disconnect. Now with these pliers I don't have to do that anymore. You simply put the disconnect tool on the line and then use these pliers to push the disconnect tool in and release the line lock. These save so much hassle. The quality of these are top notch, high quality. I like the fit to my hand and the ease of use. I would highly recommend these.
