Needs A LOT of reshaping when opened. Shipped in just a generic plastic bag, figured a box would be better to help retain shape. It's a good big size, but gonna take a lot of work to make it look right.

The shape it came in wasn't all that great. It fits me well, but its a real pain getting it to straighten it out to make it look more like the picture. Big disappointment.Spend more next time, get your head measured so you can complete your pirate look with quality material.

Looked good in the picture. Exactly what I was looking for for my Halloween idea. Received it and it was totally mangled. Even trying to bend the rims of the hat to attempt to make it look like the pictured product was futile. Don't bother.

This really was a great hat for the money, at first when we opened it up, it didn’t look good bc of the packaging, the hat was crushed, but when we smoothed it out and my husband put it on it was really awesome! He’s a big guy, he was a perfect Pirate, this hat fit him perfectly!

The edges of the brim are lined with wire so it severely lost it's shape during shipping. But a bit of bending, stretching and shaping got it back to what we wanted.
