GAP Logo Raglan Tee

I love this shirt. It’s stylish, in a minimalist sort of way, and looks great on my almost-5-year-old son. It’s quite comfortable for him, and the fact that it’s 100% cotton (free from synthetic materials) is definitely a plus. It’s a nice medium weight shirt that caters to kids with sensitive skin. I got him the 5T version - it’s just slightly baggy, but it doesn’t drag past his bottom and it’s not super loose around the shoulders. Which is perfect because he should be able to wear it for a long time. He’s on the small side, so I’d say it fits true to size. The cut is also really good - it’s a bit longer than most shirts for kids, which I like because his bottom isn’t exposed nearly as much when he’s rolling around, jumping, flailing, etc. as boys do.

What am I reviewing?I am reviewing Gap’s Raglan Cotton T-ShirtHow did the T-Shirt arrive?Within a tape sealed, non-branded, semi-retail like, clear, not very informative plastic bag. [I appreciate the bag was at least sealed, as I then do “not” have to question the integrity of the product from factory to me.]Transparency APP?Some clothing lines provide a QR code to scan with the “Transparency App.” There was no QR code here that I could scan, which is too bad, as such could have provided additional information, including marketing information, surrounding the item, and to verify its authenticity and other product information.Really an authentic GAP T-Shirt?This gives all appearances of being such, yes.Would the package, as is, be a good gift?Hmm, this arrived in a somewhat typical clothing [cellophane] plastic bag, which is often found with retail sales of clothing; although the T-Shirt was not within a branded plastic bag, and there was no Transparency Code, there was a cardstock hang tag attached to the T-shirt that referenced baby GAP. So, yes, it could be presented, as is, however, it’s not that impressive.What’s the size of the plastic bag/package?It’s about 8” x 10” x ¾” – which is a typical size for a youth T-Shirt bag.Weight of retail package?The entire package and contents weighed in at about (2.3) ounces, which is about (66) grams, this gives an idea of how thick [thin] this t-shirt really is – I estimate this at an average weight.What’s inside?The GAP T-Shirt of course.How can I tell its “official” merchandise?It is corroborated by the sewn in tag and hang tag that clearly corroborate official merchandise, I really appreciate such.Fit & finish?The T-Shirt has a perfect fit and finish. No crooked, nor unfinished seams; in fact, this T-Shirt ranks within the best I have ever seen. I think sizing is spot on; is this a unisex shirt? It could be, yes.What’s special about this.It’s a GAP official T-shirt.Accuracy of listing?The photos in the listing, I opine, are accurate.Thoughts.This represents a theme I wanted, GAP brand.Was there a retail like hang tag anywhere?Yes, connected to the T-shirt, I appreciate that, as it eliminates any question this is a regift or used.Giftable?Yes, I “could” give this as a gift, because the hangtags corroborated this set is new, retail oriented, and official merchandise.Tagless?No, there are multiple silk like sewn in-tags, at the hips and tagless at the neck.Care instructions?Yes, included.Value?Based on the totality of the above, I opine that I “did” receive fair value, and I opine the price competitive for the product line and this also being official merchandise.Why I selected?I selected this in large part because it is GAP themed merchandise, the icing on this cake being it is clearly official and authorized apparel.Material?T-Shirt is (100%) cotton.Organic?Nothing supports this as being organic cotton.Certifications?I did not see any.What certifications did I “not” see?Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) safety standards and/or CPSIA [US Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) of 2008. CSPIA specifically targets children's products. CPSIA defines children's products as any product designed or intended primarily for use by children aged 12 or younger]. This did “not” have that certification. I have seen other shirts that do, corroborated on a sewn-in label, it’s a slight negative.What other certification would I have liked to have seen?OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 CertifiedWhat’s that?OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification – which is one of the world's best-known labels for goods tested for harmful substances. In my opinion, goods with this certification gives me confidence the product has a high safety threshold. I did “not” see that certification here. I prefer a child’s clothes have this, to give me peace-of-mind that the dyes used in creating this shirt was evaluated by a third-party for safety.Any irritations from using?None.Logo?It’s silkscreened on, no wear off early on.Size of the logo?About (3¾”) tall.ShrinkageBased on my style of washing, and the fact this is all cotton, I did not see visible shrinkage.Country of origin?Made in IndonesiaDate of manufacture?A sewn-in label suggested 01/24.Date received?March 2025, this suggests being old stock.Raglan?Raglan is a design typically used for baseball player shirts, its sleeves are a continuous piece of fabric, extending from the collar of the shirt to the underarm.Is this perfect?No.Why do I think that?The shirt, in my opinion, for such a huge brand, and at this price point, there was no corroboration of any certification compliances, as noted above. I would have awarded this five (5) stars, had it and if the date of manufacture appeared later than over (14) months ago.Rating?For me, based on the totality, this set is an extremely strong four (4) stars.I hope my thoughts added a bit of information.

Comes and perfectly fit color was good soft and nice Quality was good

Same quality I have come to expect with GAP. The shirt is very soft and comfy (and toddler approved). The quality is great with the shirt being sewn well and the gap logo perfectly centered and printed on the shirt. The fit is true to size. We have washed and dried with zero issues. It can be worn as a play shirt or could be paired with a button up for a more dressy look. This is a classic and we are grateful to have it in our closet.

This shirt came as shown and I would say the sizing is accurate. It's very cut on and washes and dries well. The material is soft and not scratchy. Would recommend.

We grabbed this GAP raglan t-shirt for our little guy, and it's a great shirt coming into the warmer months. The fit (5T) is spot-on for our little man, the fabric is soft, and the quality of the overall shirt is spot-on. The sleeves fit well and the neck isn't too tight, either, which makes it easy for him to put on and take off.We grabbed the white/red version, and the colors are vibrant and true to their description. The shirt has seen a couple wash cycles so far without any indication of major shrinkage or fading, as well. This shirt will be worn heavily throughout the summer, without a doubt, so it's nice to see a quality GAP shirt already performing well in our collection that can put up with the rigors of being worn by a toddler!

This is a great summer shirt for my little guy's wardrobe. It is well made and super soft! It is just the right weight for summer. I ordered a 5T, and it fits as expected.
