The socket seems well made. The issue is that it is only sized inside a little deeper than a shallow socket. This is a plus on a regular nut on a long bolt. It makes it pretty useless on long nuts such as lug nuts, which is what I needed it for.

GearWrench makes a nice product, great customer service as well. Got this and a breaker bar to keep in the vehicle. Works Great!

Still okay. Only used occasionally (carried in car to use for flat changing).

The socket is deep, but the hex formed nut contact area is only about 7/16" (11.1 MM) deep. If you are looking for a socket to put a lot of bearing area on those tall alloy wheel nuts, this isn't what you are looking for. The hex area sure looks deeper in the product page photo, but the one I got isn't.Added Info: I ended up going to Sears and buying (at a lower cost) a Craftsman 3/4" deep 1/2" drive (the size is almost identical to 19 MM) as Craftsman doesn't have a 1/2" drive 6 point 19 MM deep socket. I posted a photo comparison of the GearWrench and the Craftsman deep socket and a standard Craftsman 19 MM socket on the product page. For reference; a standard depth Craftsman socket has a 21 MM (13/16") hex depth and a Craftsman deep socket has a hex depth of 44 MM (1 3/4"). I'm sure the GearWrench part has it's uses, but the hex depth is shallower than I expected and need. It's on its way back to Amazon.

I had a hard time finding a 19mm deep socket from my local store and ended up ordering from amazon. It works perfectly fine with my open-end lug nuts (which my car has extended wheel studs) and it feels somewhat heavier than the Craftsman's one.
