The defrost was not remedied had to throw Ge “profile frigerator to the curve a short while later And didn’t think of removing the expensive Motherboard for resale opps that was a bad move!

Refrigerator front panel where ice and water is dispensed from was no longer working. Shorty after the refrigerator quit cooling. Found a youtube video on how to diagnose refrigerator main control panel located on back of the refrigerator and determined with a multimeter that control panel was no longer working. This part fixed my refrigerator took less than 20 min to replace. Happy so far!

OK I'm not a handy man and I couldn't afford a new fridge. Did a little bit of research and figured out that it was the control board. Looked at multiple boards but decided on this one. Took 4 days to get out to me which is good I live in the middle of nowhere. Installing part took 5 mins. Took longer to pull out fridge. Fix it yourself! It's easy use youtube. SAVED $2500 today! Thanks again for the part.

Our son helped us by trouble shooting the issue with our refrigerator. We actually just needed capacitors. The capacitors on our current panel were expanded (puffy looking). After ordering, we realized we might not have the tools to remove the old capacitors from the Control Board. Fortunately we ordered this Control board at the same day. My son used YouTube and/or the manual to install. Very easy! The hardest part was pulling the fridge out, and pushing it back in. The cost was $200 for the Control Board, which was much less than having a service person come out, and then padding extra money on the price of their part/s. It is an easy, do-it-yourself job!

The board on our refrigerator stopped working after a power spike / outage. We tried to troubleshoot but nothing worked. The website provides a feature to verify that you are getting the correct replacement part for the refrigerator based on make / model and it verified that I was ordering the correct part.The replacement board arrived in a couple of days after ordering and took less than 15 minutes to replace - it was very easy to do and fixed our broken refrigerator immediately. Other sites I found online had the part listed for $450 (shipping extra) or more but Amazon had it for just over $200.
