this item is definitely not an exact replacement for my 2002 f250's 7.3L diesels dipstick. As previously stated it is much narrower, and who knows if the reading is correct or not as comparrison is impossible since the overlap is different at the handle top. the part number stamped on the sticks are different even tho the part # is the same. really on the fence on endorsing this to others...shipping was quick, as a prime memeber, half the time stated to get to me

Dip stick is about half the thickness of the OEM design. Disappointed because I was expecting the same quality as the original.

Blade is narrower than original as some have already posted, makes it a little more difficult to read. A bigger problem is that it is not the same length as the original. It reads a quart lower than the oem. This isn't a huge problem as this motor holds about 16 quarts of oil, but it is however not accurate. Not so sure this is actually a genuine ford replacement part as stated.

Ford OEM dipstick. Had to replace original when water pump pulley "gave way". A little thinner that original, but still OEM, correct length etc...Only drawback was took all week to arrive. Order placed on 22nd, arrived on 27th. Other than that, really pleased...

My original Dip stick was broken, so this is a great buy in that I can check my oil level again. However, the width of this one is about half of the original equipment for my 2000 F250 and is not as easy to read.
