This guy is so cool! I got it for my VERY ant-phobic daughter, and it has totally helped her out. It's very cute, but pretty realistic too (if you ask me) I did think it would be a little bigger, but it isn't a problem for us as that has also helped out our girl. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who's ant-phobic or just loves ants!

The overall product is good, but when considering using it for teaching purposes, it is not anatomically correct. The stuffed ant's body has four segments when it should actually have three with two nodes in between.I would think in order to make this an effective learning tool for education purposes, at the very least there should only be three body segments in order to not confuse the students.

This was the last mini animal I needed for our pyramid of success! I am glad I was able to find it and it was the perfect size. (about the size of a beanie baby)!

I bought this along with a pack of tiny, plastic ants (to play a joke on a friend (this was the "mama" ant)). There are wires in the legs, so you can even make it stand on its own. Worked out as a really good prank, too. :D

I bought this to go with a song called little black Ant. I show it to my 7 month old while we sing the song. It's not something I will leave with him to chew on since I'm not sure about the eyes but he laughs and I'm sure he will like learning about ants later on.

nice little ant--not too cute, not too scientific. You could even call it cuddly, if an insect could be called cuddly. Our 7-year old son and 5-year old daughter love them, and you can learn the ant's body parts very well. Nice value.
