This little Ethernet switch has four ports in total allowing you to add three more ports to whatever device you're connecting it to. It's in a metal enclosure measuring 2.5" x 2.75" x 0.5". It comes with a USB A to USB C cable for power. There are no Ethernet cables included with it.I connected it to my network with multiple devices and watched the lights to see if the device doing the speed test has its light flashing more rapidly than the others. It did, so it appears to be a switch. Whether it has enough capacity to deliver a full Gb between all four ports independently is not something I'm set up to test for. However, this isn't the type of switch you'd use as your main switch. This is for adding more ports to your single port device or to a location where you need more network ports, but can't or don't want to run more wire.

Simple and does its job. It comes with a very simple manual (a diagram actually). I would expect some more descriptions on each port so one don’t have to go to the manual to figure out which ones are in and out.

Pretty standard splitter. Some splitters will have a single input with the 3 outputs, but I have seen this style more often which is nice because you just plug the source in to any port and then the outputs to any of the other ports. This makes install easier in some applications, especially since it requires a power source. They do give you a standard USB type a to C cable but they do not provide you with an outlet. You can use a computer or any other power source, in my application I also need a different cable because I needed extra length. Speeds were solid during testing, I did not seen any lags or drops in speed.

Functionality = 5 starsNot having the input port labeled, -1Besides that, its working as expected and my speeds are where they should be. (Might be a lil faster as I upgraded the cables when I installed it).Small size is great. LED's to let me know there is power is nice. Functioning properly, FANTASTIC.

Got the upgraded 1-3 version. Not sure why everyone's having problems. Could be they got bad units. I had no issue. I just plugged the usb cable into a usb port for power and then plugged in the ethernet cable coming from my router. Once I saw the data lights come on, I knew it was connected. I then connected the other two, one to my PC and one to my alexa light hub and those data lights come on. My internet speed on the PC is just as fast as it was without the switch. Shouldn't matter which ports you use for any device.I would have rather had a usb-c to usb-c cable come with it but luckily I had an empty usb-a port on the PC for power

A great little Ethernet splitter, perfect for Eero users like me who want to be able to connect more than one device to Ethernet (PlayStation, PC, etc). Standard power source, pretty much plug-and-play when it comes to setup, and small enough to tuck away in the back of your network cabinet if you're like me and try to hide all that stuff away.

After nature, in the form of lightning, took out a network switch a few weeks ago, having a decent spare seemed to be a wise choice. Which is why this one was ordered. The estimated delivery info showed 3 days for delivery. However, it arrived, safe and sound, after just 2 days. While I have not checked it exhaustively, it appears to perform as expected: The green/yellow lights illuminate as intended and the signals get to their destinations just as they should. One downside: Only a power cable (USB-C) is included. The power source is left to the user.
