This is a great tool to help with this engines timing components. Like with any tool you have to use it correctly. It will not do the job for you. Pay very close attention to how the camshafts rest. Not a machine fit.. There is enough play to install the chain one tooth off at the crankshaft.

I work for GM. We have these at work. Ut I wanted my own set these are actually better quality in my opinion. A must have for any GM technician or just someone wanting to replace their timing chains

Not even the seller knows if it will fit a 2012 Buick lacrosse 3.6 L leather trim vehicle… How sad that they don’t even know their product.
