I bought this to relocate the IAT from the MAF sensor to the intake on my 2005 SIlverado 5.3 that is running a procharger and tickling 12lbs of boost. In order to take advantage of water/methanol injection it has to be after the MAF and before the IAT so I relocated the sensor to the intake. You can either drill the hole bigger for the evap vent valve and delete it or if you had a drive by cable intake with an IAC (like many aftermarket intakes) but are using a drive by wire throttle body like me you can drill a hole in the IAC blanking plate and mount it there. I put a properly sized grommet and used some permatex adhesive sealant (I am sure RTV would work) that is alcohol safe and have zero leaks and it works great. Its awesome it comes with the connector, I de-loomed the wire and removed the pins from the MAF connector and used the same sealant to weather proof the connector and re-routed the wires back up the engine harness and down the injector harness. Then just trim the wires and use the right special crimpers to make the connections. Be super cautions crimping this type of connector the pin goes in backwards from other weather pack connectors I have assembled so I wasted one connector. Works flawlessly with the factory ECU.

Nothing wrong with the sensor. What worked on my SAAB. My SAAB A/C won't turn on without an ambient sensor. Did the job. It says it's 122 degrees when it is 95, but I only need it for my A/C to turn on. Way cheaper than SAAB one.
