Buyers should be aware from the product description that no pre-made tie rods are "universal" and that most DIY projects will require that one or both of these tie rods will need to be modified for length in order to fit your particular set up. To shorten the rods they can be cut and welded (preferably with a collar rather then just a butt weld) or the rod can be cut off at one end, turned down on a lathe, and then threaded to fit the 3/8" rod end. Either way you will need some skills and equipment to get the job done right, or a local machine shop that can do the work for you. But one the plus side, all the raw materials are here to fabricate your steering arms and they come at a reasonable cost.

Easy to Install OEM Quality Tie Rod Set. The CILOYU replacement Go Kart Tie Rod Kit is for the Yerf Dog Go Kart Cart & Others, the Tie Rod Ends are 3/8-24 Fine Threaded Female. Installing the Replacement Tie Rods is Very Easy, the Wheel Alignment can be done with a regular Tape Measure or a Yard Stick. The New CILOYU replacement Tie Rods are Durable & Reliable. I couldn't be Happier with the CILOYU Tie Rods, they Certainly made Quick Work of what looked to be a major problem.
