These are far from the most expensive / premium nippers, but for someone just starting out with model kits, it's just fine and matches the price. There isn't much to say about nippers, they either work well or they don't, and they work just fine. I am sure you can pay a lot more and get something more comfortable / long lasting, but if you are like me and just like something functional and price conscious (because I tend to lose things!) then this will work fine.

Affordable nippers, Cuts are decent for the price not perfect but still accurate, closer to generic nips than the God Hands top end lineup. Sturdy and great to use for cutting thicker sprue pieces as long as you don't mind a bit of clean up on the model. The alignment on the blades where good, and the handle size feels comfortable. These are really made for those who are fans of Sgt. Keroro, otherwise there are better nippers available from Tamiya's basic line for cheaper

Although I wouldn't compare this little item to the hand of God, I will say that it's a nifty little device. It cuts small things without any effort, fits comfortably into your hand, and I was surprised to find that we use it constantly - especially to cut off those annoying plastic rings that enclose just about any small thing you buy these days. You can be very precise with this tool, and we have one that we use on our N scale train layout constantly. In fact, we found the tool so useful that we bought four or five and dispersed them through the house. It's probably our most used and useful tool.

I have used plenty of other nippers but none compare to GodHand

I am more pleased than I expected to be with these particular nippers. Being entry grade side cutters (even from GodHand) worried me a bit since I already had a cheap pair of non branded nippers break on me. However, I'm very pleased to say I've built 4 kits so far with them in tandem with a pair of single bladed nippers for nub removal and clean up. I can honestly say these nippers are now my mains. Between the comfort of the handles and the sharpness out of the packaging I don't think there is a better value for price out there when it comes to all purpose nippers. The only negative I can see is that after getting mine out of the package I felt like the spring was just a tiny bit loose but since using them it's put my mind at ease. I've had no issues.

I've been building scale models since I was very young. The things you wish you knew back then... This is one of those things. I avoided buying nippers for trimming parts off sprue trees for decades, because I have an xacto knife. Why would I need anything else? The difference is amazing. When I first held them, I was concerned. They felt light and flimsy. However, once I started using them, I realized they didn't have to feel like heavy wire cutters because they are a precision instrument. They cut through the plastic with so much ease, there is almost no resistance. It's like the difference between a kitchen knife and a scalpel. You will not regret using these if you are a hobbyist.

Most of us can’t justify spending the full cost on Godhands but these work nicely in their stead. The green is a nice change from all the blue and white and the tiny Keroro on them looks great as well. Not the cleeeaaanest cut but it works fine for simple kits.

I had previously already purchased the Citadel clippers, but the package got lost in the mail. That turned out to be fortuitous! These things have sharp enough tips to be able to get into small places where there's a sprue gate (which lets you avoid taking multiple cuts), and the blades themselves are very sharp. I had read about the legendary GodHand clippers, but thought spending $50-100 was a bit overkill. These were $20 and they are amazing.I went from using Hakko clippers (also Japanese), but those are designed for cutting wire and solder, and not for model building. They worked well enough, but I always had a lot of sanding to do afterward. These GodHand PN-125s remove the need for much sanding. You will still have a visible imperfection on the piece (most of the time - I've had a few near perfect cuts!), and you will have to file or scrape off mold lines anyway, so the tiny amount of sanding necessary after using these cutters is a very welcome change for me!You won't regret buying these, bottom line. In this case, you really do get what you pay for, unlike much of the Citadel range.
