I am using this flash with my Sony alpha 4 and it's working great! Is a good start if you would like to practice flash photography

Well, I purchased this flash A little over a year ago. I have used it about 6 times for different jobs. It will not connect to x2t anymore. ID is not on and I know how to use the flash. It no longer works. Godox got back with me for tech support but, I already tried what they told me to do to check it. I am disappointed that I only got to use it half a dozen times. For 124.00 I expect more from a product. I am probably done with godox unless they can make this right, because I need equipment that works when i need it to.

Pros:The remote and flash are overall fantastic.Cons:The overall feel is cheap. The buttons, switches, and build are very cheap.Best to get rechargeable batteries.UI is dated. This is like switching from an Apple Watch to a Casio G-Shock; many cryptic choices. If you are spoiled by today’s intuitive user interfaces, this one is going to be rough. In conclusion, this is a great product package. While the cheapy feeling is immutable, it is durable enough for moderate repeat use.

After several months of research for a remote flash trigger, I settled on the Godox X2T and the TT600 flash. This was by far the best combination for price and performance. I was tired of the manual labor associated with manual flashes and wanted something with TTL.I received the X2T and TT600 and immediately read the manual to configure the trigger and flash. Setup was a breeze and navigating the menu on the trigger was easy enough. I tried a few test shots with the camera that seemed overly dark. Sure enough the flash was not being triggered. I confirmed this with the button on top of the trigger. I confirmed that group and channel were right on the trigger and group, channel, and slave setting were correct on the flash.Fortunately I purchased a second TT600 flash. I setup the group, channel, and slave function on the second flash but only received similar results. The TT600 can act as a radio master and I confirmed that with the TT600 on the hot shoe and set to master, it controlled the other TT600 perfectly. The transmitter in the X2T must be bad.I ordered a second X2T that arrived today. AFter unboxing and configuring the trigger, I was again met with disappointment. Two X2T's and two TT600 and the triggers do not work with the flashes. I've got 3 hours invested in videos, reading reviews, and setting up the bluetooth and trying to update the firmware. I have found nothing that indicates this won't work. I have tried two different cameras (80D and T2i), fresh batteries (NiMH and Alkaline), and made sure there was distance between the trigger and flash.Out of frustration, I ordered the XPRO and the upgraded and more expensive TT685 flash. It this combination doesn't work, I will be leaving my feedback for all these devices.UPDATE:I got the X2T to work with the TT600 flashes.I never read manuals and therefore when I read the Wireless ID Settings section I followed the first part but missed the second part. When working with the TT600 and TT685 flashes, the ID has to be set to OFF.From the manualChange the wireless channels and wireless ID to avoid interference for it can only betriggered after the wireless IDs and channels of the master unit and the slave unit areset to the same.Press the button to enter C.Fn ID. Press the button to choose OFFchannel expansion shutdown, and choose any figure from 01 to 99.Note: It can only be used when the slave units have the wireless ID settings functions. If they do nothave, please set the ID to OFF.In the time I've had the flashes working, I've had one misfire in my testing.
