This is a nice quality needle holder, I got them to repair a slow feed haynet. They have a good grip and sharp cutting surface. They will be useful to suture my horse if ever necessary.

poorly made. the driver teeth don't come together properly and there's a significant gap even when fully closed. makes instrument tying impossible to perform as it wil not hold onto sutures even when fully closed.

Good quality instrument that I use for my hobbies. Speaking as a physician, it will also work for dissections or surgery, Not like the cheap Pakistan made junk

You get what you pay for.. The tips of the needle driver barely appose each other when fully clamped, so unless you grip the suture at the very end of the instrument and fully clamp down the instrument, it won't grasp or hang on to suture... so they're basically useless.
