I got this to replace some couch cushions They work well. Be sure to get the measurements correct before you cut. They are a bit too firm but I'm used to them now.

I purchased the 6" thick 35ILD (the LEAST supportive) and I weigh a little over 200. It is very firm. It wasn't UNcomfortably firm, but since there was nothing less firm, I reordered the 35ILD 4", thinking I could top it with a soft layer of memory foam if necessary. The 4" is still supportive and I don't sink into it much but it has a little more give. I think it will make a comfortable bed for my camper. It is far cheaper than those memory foam mattresses that eliminate air circulation underneath.

I’m using this foam to create a folding mattress. We were given a folding mattress that was too soft, so I tried some 45l foam in the folding mattress cover, which was too hard, and then tried this 35l foam, which is just about right. For reference, the perfect bed for me is a purple mattress, and this 35l is just, maybe, 2 or 3 points firmer than that. It’s held up great with a month of usage, is pretty easy to cut with an electric turkey carving knife, and is a good value at this price. The thickness makes it perfect for use over any hard surface, ensuring ample padding to keep it from bottoming out. That said, it has no certipur certification, but has no noticeable odor, it retains heat like you might expect from any foam mattress, and it may be a little too firm for most people when using it as a mattress pad.

Really love this product. Was considering replacing my couch because the cushions had gone soft and when you sat down, you would sink like 2 ft into the couch. They are really dense but soft. Recommend putting a layer of cushion wrap around. Came package well. We let it air out for a day then cut to size and couch was good as new.

Have an older Home Reserve sofa (2 seat cushion) which has a sturdy chipboard base. I could get new cushions from the company, but, was fed up with sofa cushions compressing at their edges, so where ever the cushions abut, it's like a big gap opens up. Eventually there's this unpleasant feeling of sitting on styrofoam pieces. You actually tilt into the cushion gaps. Plus I spend a lot of time laying down/sleeping on this couch.Decided to try a single sheet of this semi-firm foam - used a bread knife to trim but an electric carving knife would be better. Not too bad of a job. Replaced my couch base cushions and life is a lot better lol - perfect for me, the semi-firm is firm with a bit of "give", which is what I wanted. Much, much better than my first attempt with a cheap memory foam that compressed to 1/2" within weeks - ghastly. This arrived neatly rolled, uncompressed, and it just FEELS good. Also you can stack more foam to customize. My back appreciates the new daybed as it is now cushioned with 6 inches of new foam plus an additional 2 inch thick sheet. Even better shipped to my door and no annoying seat cushion gaps from old foam cushions.Of course I could trim this to fit original seat covers, but I figured why bother since I mostly lay on this couch anyway. Happily there are plenty of options to cover what is essentially a new daybed mattress. When it's time to move, can just roll it up and go.
