Super Hilo’Tron Humbucking Pickups
The G2604T’s sound is driven by a pair of Super Hilo’Tron humbucking pickups that deliver all the clarity and chime players have come to expect from a Gretsch with enhanced presence and higher output than the Hilo’Tron pickups of yore. A chambered mahogany center block runs the length of the body, reinforcing the top while eliminating undesired feedback for volume-friendly performance on rocking stages. The Streamliner’s sonic power is harnessed and shaped by the traditional control set - neck and bridge pickup volume controls, a master tone control, a master volume control, and 3-way pickup switching.
Laurel Fingerboard
A fast-playing 12-inch radius laurel fingerboard with elegant pearloid Neo-Classic Thumbnail inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets sits atop the white-bound nato neck with a thin U-shaped profile that is ideal for chord work or fiery riffing.
Retro-Style Controls
Classic retro style is here with the new Gretsch G-Arrow radio control knobs, elegant aged white binding with black purfling, plexi pickguard and truss rod cover with vintage-style Rally striping, and arched laminated maple construction. I've got about fifteen guitars from all the major brands but this one is my first Gretsch guitar. I'm REALLY impressed with the quality of the build, the way the guitar looks and feels, and the great sound it has. It has become my first guitar to reach for when I play these days. Greatly satisfied with it.

Très surpris par sa prise en main. Côté sonorité, je dois avouer qu’elle sonne bien déjà en mode acoustique. En mode électrique sur un ampli à lampes avec une distorsion alors là, ça envoie du lourd. Très bonne guitare avec une finition soignée.

I would have bought a Rally II but the tiny dots on the fingerboard make the guitar look Amateur & Cheap!!

Fine guitar. It comes with Gretsch's Super Hilotron pickups, which are honestly more like fuller better blacktop filtertrons. Full sound and plays like butter. Had to get it set up but once I did, it was even better than I imagined. It's a centerblock guitar, so you can crank the distortion pretty hard also! Clean or dirty, this is fine crafted guitar.
