The box containing the staples opened during shipping and all the staples broke into little pieces. Ever try loading four or five staples at a time into your gun? Makes for a long job/day. If they would have just taped the box containing the staples it would have avoided this debacle. Need the staples for ongoing job otherwise I would have returned. Will pay the extra next time for a reputable brand.

I opened the box to find the sections of staples broken into little pieces. This item was packaged normally, the product box was factory sealed and showed no signs of abuse. I would expect the broken racks of staples to be a by-product of poor shipping and handling but I don't think that is the case with this product. Some of the larger sections of intact staples can be removed from the box but are extremely fragile. I believe this is a product issue, not a shipping issue. The glue coating holding the racks intact is clearly not sufficient. I have a Grex stapler and absolutely love it. I have purchased thousands of Grex 23 ga. pin nails and have no issues with them. Hopefully this was just a bad lot.

I have had nothing but good service from all Grex products. Their pin drivers are superb. Customer service is very good, in my opinion. I do not use my pinners a lot so I cannot comment on durability. These staples live up to the Grex reputation.

When I opened the vendor's box, there were hundreds of little pieces of staples. Amazon probably attributed to some of the damage by placing the vendor's box into too large of a shipping box with 2 pieces of "air" packaging.I returned the item (mostly in a plastic "baggie") and ordered another brand (Surebonder). They arrived fine.
