A well designed product that's built very strong and simply works. The steel is thick and has a beautiful brown colored powder coating. One reviewer mentioned the cable quickly broke. The cable that mine came with may have been upgraded because it's definitely not going to break. I replaced the D-pins with bolts to make it even studier. The only thing I would add to the hoist package is a second strap to lock the bottom down. There is a slot included at the bottom if you decide to add your own.

Worked as advertised and everything fit together correctly. Snug down your nuts and bolts and you'll be ready to process your game/livestock.

When I ordered this product I wasn't sure what I'd get. I was surprised to see how strong the metal was and the fit and finish were excellent. The only flaw was the slot where the chain locks in was too small. A couple of swipes with a file solved it. I believe it was because of the heavy coat of paint that was applied. While I haven't tried it yet, the winch seems light weight and not sure if it can lift the required feeder can weight. It's rated at 600 lbs. and I plan on lifting near 300 lbs. Fortunately, I have a couple of heavy duty winches. I know the metal can take take the load.

Good design. Well made. I modified it by replacing the winch with a pulley and using a longer cable. Then I put it high up a tree to keep my feeder away from bears.
